Cannot copy file properly while offline

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Dynalist via web.
  2. Disconnect from the internet.
  3. Right click a file and choose “Make a copy”.
  4. Give the copied file a new name and open it.
  5. Notice how the file looks empty.

Expected result

  • Expected the file to be correctly copied or for an error message to pop up.

Additional information

After step 5, you can:

  1. Reconnect to the internet.
  2. Write anything on the empty file.
  3. Wait for the top-right icon to appear to sync.
  4. Click the ‘sync now’ button.
  5. Notice how the content of the file that is supposed to be copied will appear below your text.
  6. Notice how the title of the copied file will change to the name of the original file.
