Add before: as a search operator

Add before: as a search operator

Problem
When I want to search for a date that has passed, I use within:-120m.

Usage
before:DATE*, where DATE* follows conventions in the search operators document.
before:0d = before today
before:3d = the past + the next 3 days

Why
before: is the opposite of since:, but it doesn’t exist. It has the same use case for since as you could already use “within:-DATE* within:DATE*” to specify a date range, but since: simplifies things. So can before:

I don’t get why you said the opposite of “since” doesn’t exist. It’s “until”.

Did I miss something?

Nope I thought until functioned like Today —> Until because of the image. Thanks for the clarification.
